Spectrum Brands HHI’s Hometown Heroes Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by the Pfister®, Kwikset® and National Hardware® divisions of Spectrum Brands, Inc. (“Pfister”, “Kwikset” and “National Hardware,” respectively) located at 3001 Deming Way, Middleton, Wisconsin 53562. The Giveaway begins Monday, May 4, 2020, at 12:00pm PST and ends Thursday May 28, 2020 at 11:59pm PST (the “Giveaway Period”).

How to Enter
- Entrants are to submit their hometown hero nominations on the form provided in the Pfister, Kwikset or National Hardware blogs or by using the #hhihometownheroes hashtag on their social media platforms. Nomination should include either (1) video uploads minimum 15 seconds maximum 60 seconds in length OR (1) images upload with minimum 200 word summary OR (1) text upload minimum 500 word summary.
- Each Thursday, the Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware committee, comprised of Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware marketing employees will select the weekly hometown hero and share on our Instagram stories each Friday at 10AM during the Giveaway Period. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries submitted. Purchasing a product will not increase your odds of winning. You may opt-out of receiving any email communication from the Sponsor in the future by contacting the Sponsor.
All entries must be received by Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware during the Giveaway Period. Limit one (1) entry per person. Entrants will be notified that their submission was received via email or social media comment from branded social accounts. Entrants may not submit content that contains any elements that violate a third party’s copyrights or trademark rights and should not depict any individuals that have not granted permission to be featured.
Weekly Winners
At the end of each week during the Giveaway Period, The Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware committee, comprised of Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware marketing employees, will select one hometown hero submission winner, based on images uploaded, video attached or the written testimonial submitted in the Giveaway Period and winners will be announced on Fridays. Judges will look for sincere stories that convey the efforts of the hero and the reason they were identified by the entrant as a hometown hero.
The Weekly Winners will be notified by a Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware message with the contact information they provided in the blog form, within approximately thirty (30) days of the end of the Giveaway.
Prizes and Approximate Retail Value of Prizes
The winner will receive 1 Pfister Ladera Kitchen Faucet, 1 Kwikset Halo Touchscreen Wi-Fi Enabled Smart Lock, 1 Kwikset Prescott Handle with Tustin Lever, 30 National Hardware 224 Knobs, 1 National Hardware 804 Security Guard, 1 National Hardware V1914V Door Knocker and 1 National Hardware V1996 Kickplate. Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware reserve the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value. Approximate retail value $800 Income and other taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the Winners. Each Winner should allow thirty (30) days from acceptance for delivery of any prize. All prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. The failure to accept any prize within thirty (30) days after notification shall result in the forfeiture of any prize awarded hereunder.
Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to those legal residents of the United States, residing in the 48 contiguous states (excluding Rhode Island), Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Individuals who are or were employees of Pfister, Kwikset or National Hardware or its affiliates, manufacturers, sales representatives, subsidiaries or parent companies, advertising/sales promotion agencies, or judging organizations at any time from July 12, 2010 to the present and the immediate families of each such employee are not eligible.
Conditions
All federal, state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware are not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in connection with participating in the Giveaway or claiming or using any prize awarded in the Giveaway. By agreeing to enter the Giveaway, each participant is bound by these Rules and Regulations. Any decisions related to the Giveaway, the Rules and Regulations, the operation of the Giveaway, and the qualifications and eligibility of any participant are at the sole discretion of Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware and are final. Each participant agrees to release, defend and hold harmless Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware, its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, and its subsidiaries, parent companies or other affiliated companies from any and all damages (including but not limited to punitive, incidental, special, indirect and consequential damages), losses, claims, and liabilities arising out of participant’s participation in the Giveaway or resulting from accepting or claiming any prize awarded hereunder. Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend, or otherwise cancel the Giveaway at any time for any reason. Each Winner will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release or his or her prize will be forfeited (except where prohibited by law). Participation in the Giveaway constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each Winner’s name, likeness, biographical information, contents of Winner’s Pinterest board, photographs, and any statements or remarks made about winning or participating in the Giveaway for advertising and promotional purposes (in any medium) without additional compensation. Participants acknowledge and agree that Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware may share any and all information collected through the Giveaway from time to time with their subsidiaries, parent companies, or other affiliated companies. Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware may verify that the Winners are qualified.
Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware are not responsible for any (i) lost, late, damaged, misdirected, or illegible entries or any miscommunications, (ii) unsuccessful attempts to notify the Winners, (iii) unavailable or failed networks, servers, telephones, or other connections, or any interrupted, misrouted, or scrambled transmissions, (iv) failure of the Website, computer equipment, or software, (v) congestion on the Internet, or (vi) other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic, or otherwise. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Website or to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Pfister, Kwikset and National Hardware reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including, without limitation, criminal prosecution.

Choice of Law and Forum
Participant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the State of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Participant further agrees that any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Middleton, Wisconsin.
